CHARLOTTE, N.C. (August 21, 2025) - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announces the 2025 All-CIAA preseason volleyball team and the predicted order of finish as voted on by the Sports Information Directors Association. 

Fayetteville State leads with three selections on the preseason team, including two 2024 First Team All-CIAA selections (Jasmine Culp, Amihan Johnson), as well as setter Chiara Vittoni. Bowie State and Winston-Salem State are right behind them with two each.  

Fayetteville State narrowly finished atop the predicted order of finish ahead of Shaw, despite falling to the Bears in last year’s championship. Virginia State fell to the the Broncos in last season’s semifinals, and found themselves rounding out the top-three.
