CIAA VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK



NAME: Lexis Tatum
INSTITUTION: Winston-Salem State University 
POSITION: Outside Hitter
CLASS: Senior
HOMETOWN: Columbus, OH.

This week Tatum totaled 32 kills, 84 attacks,and posted 18 digs, one assist and one block posting 32.5 points.. On November 4th against Shaw, Tatum recorded eight kills, nine digs and one block. On November 6th against Livingstone Lexis had a season-high 24 kills, one assist, and nine digs in a 3-2 victory.  


NAME: Naijya Leggett
INSTITUTION: Elizabeth City State University 
POSITION: Libero
CLASS: Senior
HOMETOWN: Atlanta, GA.
 

She finished out the week with 35 digs - 20 against Virginia State and 15 against Bluefield State leading the team in digs on the week and totaling up 400 on the year.


NAME: Brooke Norwood
INSTITUTION: Winston-Salem State University 
POSITION: Setter
CLASS: Senior
HOMETOWN: Pickerington, OH.

This week Norwood had 25 attacks,  50 assists and 22 digs On November 4th against Shaw Norwood recorded 12 assists, and 10 digs. On November 6th against Livingstone, Brooke recorded a season-high 28 assists and 10 digs in a 3-2 victory over Livingstone. 


NAME: Malani Martin
INSTITUTION: Winston-Salem State University 
POSITION: Outside Hitter
CLASS: Freshman
HOMETOWN: Hanover, MD.

This weekend Martin totaled 13 kills, 67 attacks, and posted 34 digs and two aces. On November 4th against Shaw.she had eight kills, one ace and 17 digs. On November 6th against Livingstone Martin recorded five kills and 17 digs.
