Livingstone Sweeps CIAA Volleyball Weekly Honors
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 22, 2026) – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA®) has announced its Volleyball Weekly Honors, with Livingstone College sweeping all four awards following an undefeated 3–0 week. The Blue Bears earned Rookie, Defensive Player, Offensive Player and Setter of the Week honors.
The CIAA Volleyball Weekly Honors are voted on by the CIAA Sports Information Director Association.
CIAA VOLLEYBALL WEEKLY HONORS
Rookie of the Week – Henriquez Hailey, Livingstone
Hailey delivered an impressive weekend for the Blue Bears, totaling 45 kills on 92 attempts with a .348 hitting percentage. She averaged 3.46 kills per set while adding 18 digs and seven service aces. Hailey reached double-digit kills in all three matches, recording 13, 19 and 13 kills, respectively.
Defensive Player of the Week – Tialofa Alofipo, Livingstone
Alofipo anchored the Blue Bears' defense with 56 digs, averaging 4.31 digs per set for the week. She also contributed four service aces and 11 assists, highlighted by an impressive 30-dig performance in a single match.
Offensive Player of the Week – Oliwia Jaroszewicz, Livingstone
Jaroszewicz powered the Blue Bears' attack with 33 kills over the weekend while also making a significant contribution defensively with 34 digs. Her production on both sides of the net helped Livingstone complete an undefeated week.
Setter of the Week – Masa Simovic, Livingstone
Simovic directed the Blue Bears' offense during a 3–0 week, totaling 66 assists across 13 sets and averaging 5.08 assists per set. She also contributed 23 digs, three service aces and seven kills, providing an all-around presence throughout Livingstone's undefeated week.
2026 CIAA Volleyball Championship
The 47th CIAA Volleyball Championship will be held November 9–11, 2026, at the Rocky Mount Event Center in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The top eight CIAA teams will meet to compete for the conference title and the opportunity to be crowned the 2026 CIAA Volleyball Champion.
