CIAA TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK 

Charlotte, NC (April 15, 2026) – CIAA Tennis competition continued across the conference as teams competed in multiple matchups throughout the week. One student athlete earned recognition for her performance during the week of April 5 through April 11. 
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Adrianna Torroba, Bluefield State University 
Senior Adrianna Torroba delivered a dominant performance across a four-match week, finishing undefeated in both singles and doubles play at the No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles positions. 
Torroba opened the week with a 6-4 doubles victory and a 6-1, 6-0 singles win against Elizabeth City State. She followed with straight set victories in both singles and doubles against Pikeville, winning 6-0 in doubles and 6-0, 6-0 in singles. Against Virginia Union, Torroba secured consecutive 6-0 doubles wins and added multiple 6-0, 6-0 singles victories to complete an unbeaten week. 
 
CIAA Tennis competition continues as teams approach the final stretch of the regular season.
