NAME: Jayla Hill
INSTITUTION: Bowie State University

Hill was a dominant force at the plate for Bowie State Softball during the week of March 16 – March 22. She led the team with 19 RBIs and a .743 slugging percentage, recording 25 hits, including 7 doubles, 1 triple, and 6 home runs. Her .425 on-base percentage and clutch hitting made a major impact, helping fuel the Bulldogs’ offense.

NAME: Coreena Dunham

HOMETOWN: Audubon, PA.

Dunham was a defensive standout for Bowie State Softball during the week of March 16 – March 22, delivering flawless play in the field. She recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, handling 35 total chances without an error. With 33 putouts and 2 assists, Dunham provided reliability and stability on defense, helping anchor the Bulldogs’ infield.

INSTITUTION: Bowie State University

HOMETOWN: Fayetteville, GA.

George was a key contributor in the circle for Bowie State, leading the team in innings pitched and strikeouts. With 50.2 innings across 13 appearances (10 starts), she recorded 40 strikeouts and maintained a 5.39 ERA.

Her outstanding play led the Bulldogs to a 5-0 record during the CIAA Round-Up in Raleigh, N.C.

INSTITUTION: Fayetteville State University 
CLASS: Freshman
HOMETOWN: Hollywood, FL.

Over the past seven games, she has maintained a remarkable batting average of .395, demonstrating her consistency and skill at the plate. Cheyenne's performance includes going 2-for-4 with a double and 2 runs scored against Virginia Union, a 3-for-4 outing with 2 runs and 2 stolen bases against Virginia State, and another 2-for-4 game with a run and 2 stolen bases against Elizabeth City State. Defensively, Cheyenne has been equally impressive, maintaining a perfect fielding percentage in five of the seven games, with notable performances such as 3 putouts against Virginia State and Elizabeth City State.
