CIAA Volleyball Round Up – Day One Recap

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (October 3, 2025) – The CIAA Volleyball Round Up opened Friday at Fayetteville State University with all 12 conference institutions in action. Day One featured a slate of competitive matchups, with several teams earning sweeps and setting the tone for the weekend ahead.

Day One Highlights

  • Bluefield State went 2–0 on the day, defeating Johnson C. Smith and Claflin without dropping a set.
  • Shaw bounced back from an opening loss to Bowie State with a sweep over Lincoln (PA).
  • Host Fayetteville State closed out the day with a 3–0 win over Bowie State, fueled by strong play on their home court.
