CIAA Volleyball Round Up Underway at Fayetteville State University

CHARLOTTE, NC (October 3, 2025) – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) kicked off its annual Volleyball Round Up earlier today at Fayetteville State University, bringing all 12 member institutions together for a full weekend of conference competition.

Hosted inside Capel Arena, the Round Up spans October 3–5 and features a packed slate of matches that provide fans and coaches an early look at CIAA volleyball. With every institution represented, the event has already delivered exciting matchups and will continue to showcase the depth and talent of the conference throughout the weekend.
This year’s Round Up also coincides with Volleyball Officials Appreciation Week, giving the CIAA an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the dedication, professionalism, and vital role of its officials in maintaining the integrity of competition.

“CIAA officials are an essential part of the student-athlete experience,” said CIAA Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams Parker. “Their commitment, fairness, and consistency ensure that our games are played with integrity and respect. We’re proud to honor their contributions during Volleyball Officials Appreciation Week and thank Chanel Davis, our Volleyball Coordinator of Officials, for her leadership in developing and supporting our officiating staff.”
