Meade anchored a Panther offensive line which recorded its first shutout of the season when the Panthers downed Lincoln University of Pennsylvania 57-0 during VUU's Homecoming on Saturday, October 21, in Hovey Stadium in Richmond, Va.

High School: Northwest

Five different Bulldogs scored touchdowns, led by two scores from Jordan Morse, as Bowie State defeated Bluefield State, 40-11 on Saturday afternoon inside Mitchell Stadium.

FOOD LION OFFENSIVE BACK OF THE WEEK

#25 Sidney Gibbs, Shaw

Position: Running Back 

Class year: Senior

Hometown: Black Mountain, NC

Shaw running back Sidney Gibbs made history becoming the school's modern day all-time rusher in program history. Gibbs totaled 183 yards to lead the Bears' ground attack and added two touchdowns in the game, picking up 13.1 yards per carry along the way.

The Broncos had three players with more than eight tackles in the ballgame led by Shi Gaskin, who had 12.

#11 Daylin Lee, Winston-Salem

Hometown: Shelby, NC

 Daylin Lee was 21-for-32 for 259 yards and two touchdowns in the 24-17 victory over St. Augustine's on Saturday afternoon. He also was 10-for-16 rushing and one touchdown. His longest pass was for 30 yards yesterday.
