High School: C.H. Flowers 

Bruno was dominant vs. Shaw only playing 3 quarters and grading out at 98% leading an offense in the trenches that totaled 428 yards of offense.

#1 Isaiah Freeman, Lincoln (PA)

Class year: Sophomore


Hometown: Chester, PA 

High School: STEM Academy High School 

Quarterback Isaiah Freeman was 22-for-38 on pass completions for 278 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also rushed for 153 net yards on 21 attempts for a single touchdown in the Lions 30-27 win over WSSU. The Lions gave the Rams their first conference loss of the season!

FOOD LION OFFENSIVE BACK OF THE WEEK

#9 Curtis Allen, Virginia Union 

Position: Running Back 

Class year: Sophomore 

Hometown: Petersburg, VA 

Allen rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns as VUU downed Saint Augustine's 47-7 on Saturday in Raleigh, N.C.  It was the second consecutive game where Allen has rushed for more than 150 yards.

Kicker India Pulphus connected on her extra point attempt late in the fourth quarter to make history as the first female kicker to kick an extra point in Shaw football and CIAA football history Saturday afternoon as the Shaw Bears fell to the visiting Virginia State Trojans 38-19 inside Durham County Memorial Stadium.

Teal threw for 227 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception against Fayetteville State this past weekend.
