Pheadra Wyche joined the CIAA staff in 2025 as the Executive Assistant to the Commissioner and Business Administrator. In this role, she provides executive-level administrative and operational support to the Commissioner's Office while overseeing key business and administrative functions that support the conference's daily operations. She also serves as the liaison to the CIAA Board of Directors, helping facilitate communication and coordination between the conference office and its governing body.
Wyche is no stranger to the CIAA, having previously served as a Graduate Assistant in Compliance & Governance and Strategic Communications. During that time, she gained valuable experience supporting the conference's internal operations and developed a strong understanding of the conference's mission, governance, and member institutions.
A proud two-time alumna of Johnson & Wales University, Wyche earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports, Entertainment & Event Management and a Master of Science in Sport Leadership before pursuing a Master of Education in Sport Administration at the University of Miami. She is excited to return to the CIAA family and continue contributing her leadership, organizational expertise, and commitment to advancing the conference.
Wyche has been recognized for her commitment to professional development through her selection to the 2020 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar Cohort, participation in the 2025 Women Leaders in Sports Governance Academy, and as a member of the inaugural Blueprint Cohort of the CIAA Leadership Academy: The McWilliams Institute for Leadership & Legacy.
