Naiya Dalce serves as the Coordinator for Championships, Compliance, and Governance for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). In her role, she supports the conference's championship operations, governance initiatives, and NCAA and CIAA compliance efforts.
Prior to joining the CIAA, Dalce gained experience in sports law, intellectual property, and collegiate athletics through legal internships with Rise HBCU and Alcon Laboratories. She also worked with the Durham Sports Commission, where she supported sporting events and community engagement initiatives. A former high school and collegiate volleyball student-athlete, Dalce brings a unique perspective that combines legal analysis, event operations, and strategic problem-solving within the sports industry.
Dalce earned her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Marymount University, where she served as the men's basketball team manager. Her experience working closely with student-athletes and athletic administrators helped shape her passion for collegiate athletics and sports governance. She is committed to advancing opportunities for student-athletes while supporting the continued growth and success of the CIAA.
In 2026, Dalce was recognized as a recipient of the Winning 10 Award at the Black Sports Business Symposium, an honor celebrating emerging professionals who are making an impact and helping shape the future of the sports industry.
