In 2016, the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and its Board of Directors
announced Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment (VWSE) as the conference's media and sponsorship rights partner in a multi-year agreement, effective July 1, 2017.
The CIAA's partnership with VWSE will include digital and live broadcast productions of various conference matchups including football and basketball regular season and championship games. The CIAA and VWSE will also collaborate in-venue to maximize opportunities and enhance experiences for sponsors, member-institutions, and fans utilizing VWSE's expertise in sponsorship and advertising, design management, ticket sales and analysis, and activations.
Julius Grant is the Van Wagner College (formerly Van Wagner Collegiate Services) Vice President. He was named Vice President in November 2021 after holding the title of Assistant Vice President since August 20.
Grant started at Van Wagner in April 2017 as the Associate General Manager and then was given the title of General Manager in May 2018.
Prior to joining Van Wagner, Grant worked at Urban Sports & Entertainment Group from 2013-2017, starting out as a National Group Account Manager before earning the title of Vice President of Sales & Operations.
Grant has also been a Territory Sales Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Director of Ticketing & Box Office Operations for the Charlotte Bobcats, Associate Athletic Director for Ticket Operations at the University of South Carolina, Director of Ticketing at the Crown Center, and Executive Director of Ticket Sales & Operations for the Carolina Cobras.
Grant earned his Bachelor's from Western Carolina in sports management and administration.
