Incorminias Brooks manages all events, meetings, diversity equity inclusion initiatives and community activations. She develops systems, oversees databases, manages scheduling/travel, and is the liaison for multiple associations to include the CIAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Diversity and Inclusion Committee while also playing an integral role in operating the country’s third largest Basketball Tournament, overseeing hospitality, VIP guest, volunteer program, community activations, and all ancillary events held during the week. Incorminias Brooks was named the Assistant Director of Championships & Events in August 2017 but her time with the CIAA began in 2013 as a summer intern in the compliance department before becoming a graduate assistant the following academic year. From July 2014 to 2017, Incorminias Brooks served as the Executive Assistant to the Commissioner. Incorminias Brooks also served as the Head Field Hockey Coach at Heritage High School where she was responsible for recruitment, mentoring and teaching young women the skills and logistics of the game. The Newport News, Virginia native earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Liberty University in Fall 2013, as well as her Master’s in Business Administration from Liberty in 2019.
