2026 US Army ROTC CIAA High School Education Day
The US Army ROTC CIAA High School Education Day, one of the conference’s most popular events during the CIAA Basketball Tournament, has reached over 30,000 students since its inception. High school students and chaperones will be able to meet with college recruiters from Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia to learn tips to prepare for college as well as get the inside track on the collegiate experience.

The 2026 US Army ROTC CIAA High School Education Day will be held for City Schools and surrounding schools in MD, DC, VA, and neighboring states on Wednesday, February 25th, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will kick off with an opening session that includes tournament leadership and sponsor welcome and remarks and US Army ROTC presentation. At the conclusion of the opening program, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the various CIAA institution and vendor booths that are part of our educational fair. Admission offers and scholarships from CIAA colleges and universities will be available. For participants that arrive prior the event’s kickoff, we will have pre-program activities from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. that will include a deejay, games, giveaways, and band and cheerleader performances.
This program is free and open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, and chaperones (e.g., school representatives, organization advisors/staff, parents, etc.).
