ETTRICK, Va. (March 25, 2026) – Virginia State University will serve as the host site for the upcoming CIAA Baseball Series Championship, scheduled for May 5 through May 8, with May 9 designated as a rain date.
The four team event will feature the host Trojans along with Bluefield State University, Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, and Claflin University.
Participation in the CIAA Baseball Series Championship will be contingent upon postseason qualification. Any team that advances to its respective conference tournament will not compete in the event.
Claflin competes as a member of the Peach Belt Conference, while Lincoln University of Pennsylvania is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. Bluefield State competes as an independent institution, and Virginia State competes in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.
