1,334 Student-Athletes Named to Fall 2025 CIAA Commissioner’s Honor Roll

CHARLOTTE, NC (March 16, 2026) - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) recognizes 1,334 student-athletes who have been named to the Fall 2025 CIAA Commissioner’s Honor Roll. The announcement highlights the continued academic excellence of CIAA student-athletes across its member institutions. 

The CIAA Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who earned a minimum 3.0 grade point average during the semester while competing in intercollegiate athletics. The recognition reflects the conference’s commitment to academic achievement and the holistic development of student-athletes both in competition and in the classroom.

The institutional breakdown of honorees for the Fall 2025 semester is as follows:

Bowie State University – 149
Claflin University – 83
Elizabeth City State University – 97
Fayetteville State University – 154
Johnson C. Smith University – 175
Lincoln University (PA) – 105
Virginia Union University – 157
Virginia State University – 175
Winston-Salem State University – 141
