CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 16, 2025) - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) has announced the week two Food Lion Cross Country Performers of the Week, recognizing outstanding performances from across the conference.
Male Performer of the Week
NAME: Franklin Kipchirchir
CLASS: Sophomore
INSTITUTION: Fayetteville State
HOMETOWN: Kapsabet, Kenya
Franklin Kipchirchir delivered a standout performance at the Queen City Invitational on Friday, placing sixth overall in a highly competitive field that featured NCAA Division I and II programs. Kipchirchir clocked a time of 24:26.0 in the men's 8K race, leading Fayetteville State to a fifth-place team finish with 191 points.
Female Performer of the Week
NAME: Ava Millner
CLASS: Freshman
INSTITUTION: Winston-Salem State
HOMETOWN: Atco, N.J.
Ava had another great week for the Rams, she led the way with the top performance for the Rams finishing in sixth place overall 20:08.0 at the Pfeiffer XC Invitational. She had the top DII time in the meet.
