Samaritan’s Feet Offers Transformational Internship Opportunities for College Students

CHARLOTTE, NC (June 25, 2025) — The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) is proud to share three dynamic internship opportunities now available through Samaritan’s Feet International, an organization dedicated to creating a world with zero shoeless children. These internships provide meaningful, hands-on experience for undergraduate and graduate students seeking to make a global impact through nonprofit service and leadership.

Development & Donor Partnership Internship (Unpaid, College Credit Available)

This internship provides students with immersive exposure to nonprofit development and donor engagement strategies. Interns will work directly with the Samaritan’s Feet development team on impactful projects that support fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, and strategic partnerships. More than just learning, students will be empowered to lead, collaborate, and contribute to real-world results within an international nonprofit.


Global Marketing Internship (Unpaid, College Credit Available)

This opportunity offers students a front-row seat to the fast-paced world of global marketing. Interns will contribute to campaign planning, brand storytelling, market research, and cross-cultural communications. Designed for those passionate about amplifying missions on a global scale, this role emphasizes professional development, analytical skills, and creative strategy.


Signature Event Planning Internship (Unpaid, College Credit Available)

Students interested in events, logistics, and nonprofit operations will gain valuable experience supporting the planning and execution of Samaritan’s Feet’s signature events. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, assisting with fundraising strategies, managing vendor communications, and supporting the 2025 event calendar. Interns will be immersed in the full lifecycle of event planning and nonprofit engagement.


While these are unpaid internships, eligible students may receive academic credit through their college or university. Each program includes access to additional professional development, volunteer activities, networking events, and speaker series, offering students a well-rounded and meaningful internship experience.
