RALEIGH, N.C. – Shaw University head football coach Adrian Jones announced the signing of 17 new student-athletes to National Letter of Intent during the national signing day on Feb. 6. Of the 17 signees, two are transfers. The new additions to the Bears football family is the third recruiting class under Jones.

The 2019 season will get underway on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Division I Campbell. The Bears hosts five games this season at Durham County Memorial Stadium. Bowie State (Sept. 14), Edward Waters (Sept. 28), Virginia State (Oct. 2), Livingstone (Oct. 19) and Saint Augustine’s (Nov.9). A complete schedule can be found online.
