#11 Jalen Seegars, Fayetteville State
(Jr, 6-5 Guard - Greensboro, NC)
Seegars averaged 23.3 points and 8.3 rebounds over three games, including a career-high 39 points and nine rebounds against Lincoln (PA). The junior guard also averaged two blocked shots and a steal on defense while totaling eight assists. Seegars shot 44 percent from the field and 33 percent from three, helping the regionally ranked Broncos to a 2-1 record for the week with wins over Elizabeth City State and Lincoln (PA).

FOOD LION MEN'S DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#20 Tyjhai Byers, Elizabeth City State
(Sr, 6-11 Forward - Bethesda, MD)
Byers recorded a triple-double with 10 points, 16 rebounds (seven defensive boards), and 10 blocks in the Vikings only game this week. Currently Division II's active leader in career blocked shot average, the 6-11 senior ranks fourth nationally this season at a CIAA-best 3.1 blocks per game.

FOOD LION MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#42 Aaron Johnson-Cash, Saint Augustine's
(Fr, 6-6 Forward - San Francisco, CA)
Johnson-Cash earns his second rookie of the week honor this season after averaging 7.7 points, five rebounds, and a steal in three games while shooting 63 percent from the field. The 6-6 forward had his best performance against Claflin with 12 points, seven rebounds, one block, and one assist.

#20 Katisha Hyman, Fayetteville State
(Sr, 5-8 Guard - Chocowinity, NC)
Hyman averaged 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, and 1.6 steals over three games. The 5-8 guard delivered back-to-back games of 20+ points to start the week, including 20 and 26 in wins over Elizabeth City State and Lincoln (PA) respectively. Hyman is currently the CIAA's third leading scorer at 19.1 points per game, reaching double figures in all but two games this season.

FOOD LION WOMEN'S DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#4 Devona Stell, Elizabeth City State
(Sr, 6-3 Forward - Atlanta, GA)
Stell contributed 26 defensive rebounds, a block, and a steal over three games. The 6-3 senior forward recorded three double doubles this week, including 17 points and 11 rebounds against Fayetteville State, 16 points and 10 rebounds versus Lynn, as well as 20 points and 18 rebounds in a win over Felician. Stell currently leads the CIAA at 10.4 rebounds per game and second in the conference at 1.6 blocks per game while ranking among Division II leaders with seven double doubles this season.

FOOD LION WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#20 NyAsia Blango, Elizabeth City State
(Fr, 5-7 Guard - Havelock, NC)
Blango is the CIAA's top rookie for the second straight week, and third time this season, after totaling seven points, six assists, five rebounds, and a steal over three games. The Havelock, NC native is top 10 in the CIAA in assists per game (3.1) and top three in assist/turnover ratio (1.2).
