5553 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 

                                                                            Jessica Williams, Fayetteville State University
                                                                (So, OH - Hiram, GA, 18)

Williams was efficient offensively for the Broncos with 17 kills on 26 attempts in two matches, finishing with a .576 hitting percentage. The sophomore finished with 17.5 points while adding a block and a dig to help Fayetteville State to a 2-0 record for the week. She is currently top five within the CIAA with a .268 hitting percentage on this season.

5553 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

                                                          Nia Richardson, Fayetteville State University
                                                       (So, DS - Franklinton, NC, 1)

Richardson totaled 24 digs in two matches, finishing with a match-high 10 against Livingstone and leading all defenders with 14 against Claflin. The Franklinton, NC native also added four assists and a service ace to help the Broncos to a 2-0 record for the week.

5553 SETTER OF THE WEEK 

                                                            Jada Flowers, Shaw University
                                                    (So, S - Valrico, FL, 1)

Flowers continued her impressive season with a match-high 41 assists in the only match the Bears played this week. The sophomore setter also contributed five digs, two blocks, a pair of kills and a service ace as Shaw defeated Johnson C. Smith, 3-1. She currently leads the CIAA with 593 total assists and 8.47 assists per set.

5553 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 

                                                              Casandra Watson, Fayetteville State University
                                                    (Fr, OH - Grifton, NC, 5)

In two matches this week, Watson totaled a team-high 20 kills and a .317 hitting percentage to finish with 22 points. The freshman outside hitter also added 19 digs defensively along with two assists and a pair of service aces to help FSU to a 2-0 record against conference foes Livingstone and Claflin. She currently leads all CIAA freshmen with 154 kills, 176.5 points, and 2.75 kills per set as well as second with a .205 hitting percentage on the season, ranking top eight or better among all CIAA players in the four aforementioned categories .
