Hines and Ward to play in Bowl Games 12/7/2018 9:20:00 AM by Blue Bears Sports Information Department SALISBURY, NC – Livingstone College senior defensive backs Gregory Hines and Keshawn Ward both accepted an invitations to participate in the 2018 D1 FCS Senior Scout Bowl and Ward will participate in the Podyum All Star Bowl Game. The D1-FCS Senior Scout Bowl was created in 2010 following the success of the DIII Senior Classic in 2009 that provided a showcase for athletes in front of an average of 11-18 pro scouts who attend the three-day event. The FAF D1-FCS Senior Scout Bowl is the fifth in a five-game bowl series call the FAF International Scouting Showcase (ISS). The game garners the most attention and popularity in the series due to the caliber of athlete it attracts. The 2018 D1-FCS Senior Scout Bowl will take place, Saturday, December 15th at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in North Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Podyum All-Star Bowl is aimed at providing athletes and families with the inside knowledge of what it takes to play pro ball. Talks led by NFL agents, scouts, and trainers will provide our athletes with the blue print of what they need to succeed. This event will take place Dec. 27-30, in Miami, Florida. After introductions on Thursday evening, Friday morning will include a full combine where athletes will test their athletic ability. After the combine, athletes will put on the pads and let the competition begin. After practices on Friday and Saturday, the athletes will suit up for their game on Sunday which will be live streamed on Facebook for family and friends.
