JCSU Women fall to Lenoir-Rhyne 68-60

Hickory, N.C. – The Johnson C. Smith Women's Basketball Team fell to Lenoir-Rhyne 68-60 on Saturday afternoon. The JCSU women were led by Teana Lewis who dropped a game high 19 points and was the only Golden Bull to score in double figures.
The LRU Bears got a career-high 17 points from freshman Hanna McClung who went 5-for-7 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free throw line.

STATS OF THE GAME:
•    The Golden Bulls jumped out to an early 12-0 lead that was cut to a 13-10 deficit by the end of the first quarter. 
•    The JCSU bench was outscored 45-10. LR also had a 17-5 advantage in points off turnovers. 
•    JCSU's Denajah Porter was Chair of the Boards pulling down a game-high 16 rebounds.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
•    JCSU is still looking for its first win of the season
