SAU's Johnson Nominated for Hero Sports Men's Track and Field Weekly Honor

Raleigh, NC (May 16) – Omar Johnson (Sr./St. Ann, Jamaica) of Saint Augustine’s University was nominated HERO Sports D2 Men's Track and Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.

Click HERE to vote for Johnson. Vote once per hour until polls close Friday, May 19 at 1 p.m. eastern standard time. Johnson is one of 10 nominees for the award.
 
Johnson was nominated for running an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 46.38 seconds in the 400-meter dash at the Aggie Last Chance meet in Greensboro, N.C. on Sunday, May 14. His time was first among collegians and second overall in the event. The Falcons sprinter ranks third nationally in Division II in the 400 dash.
