Saint Augustine's College is sending Joe Kindred and Josh Scott to the 2009 USA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, and Christopher Copeland to the 2009 USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. Both events will be held Thursday through Sunday at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, Ore.
Both Kindred and Scott were pivotal in the Falcons winning both men's Division II indoor and outdoor national titles this year, the first time the Falcons accomplished the feat in seven eight years.

Scott has the nation's sixth best time (45.23 seconds) in the 400 dash this year. It is also the third best time collegiately. He is the 2009 Division II national indoor and outdoor 400 dash champion.
Copeland owns the sixth-best leap (2.13 meters) in the country among juniors and the third-best jump collegiately. He finished third in the nation in the high jump at the 2009 Division II Outdoor Championships.
