BSU's Rhoades and Johnson Place Sixth at NCAA Outdoor Championships
(SAN ANGELO, Texas - May 23, 2009) Bowie State representatives, sophomore Elaine Rhoades (Norfolk, VA, Booker T. Washington) and junior Aaron Johnson (Oxon Hill, MD, Oxon Hill) returned home with sixth place finishes at the 2009 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Abilene Christian University. Rhoades came in sixth in the Triple Jump (12.22m) and Johnson was sixth in the High Jump (2.10m).
