Come "Indoors" From the Cold: CIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships Begin This Weekend

Hampton, VA...The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association is hosting its Annual CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at The Freeman Sports and Convocation Center on the campus of Christopher Newport University, Newport News, VA on Sunday, February 11. Events begin at 10:00am.
This year's competition features the Saint Augustine's College Lady Falcons and Falcons, 2006 CIAA Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Champions.
Three of last year's four MVP's, all of whom were from SAC, are returning to compete again. Edgar Bermudez (Track Events), Joe Kindred (Field Events) and Johnsie Liles (Track Events), all helped to catapult SAC's scores to reach 57 and 176 points over the women's and men's second place teams, respectively.
Admission to this championship event is free.
