PITCHER OF THE WEEK

#8 Kayla Robins, Chowan
(Sr., P - Mathews County, VA)

Robins picked up her 18th win of the season after holding UNC-Pembroke to 3 hits in a 5-1 win on Wednesday, April 12th. The senior hurler jumped to lead both strikeout categories in the NCAA ranks after the game. She leads the nation in strikeouts (279) and strikeouts per 7 innings (12.4). She struck out nine UNC-Pembroke batters in her 18th win.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Neal, the Lady Falcons defeated Virginia Union 8-1 for their eighth straight victory. The Lady Falcons are 8-1 in the CIAA and lead the Southern Division at 6-0. They rank among the top 10 teams nationally in Division II in several batting and scoring categories.
