Comments:
Liz Hipple led the Hawks to a double-header sweep of Lincoln (PA) on Saturday. Hipple collected five hits in six at bats and drove in eight RBI. She slammed two triples and a double; her team-leading 5th and 6th of the season. In the 9-1, Game One win, Hipple went 3-3 with five RBI, two triples and a double.

Comments:
WSSU junior pitcher Brittany Lane had a fantastic week for the Lady Rams. In 10 total innings of play, she didn't allow any hits and added 19 strikeouts. She only allowed one walk for the entire week. Lane came within one walk of recording a perfect game against Shaw before, completing a perfect game at Saint Augustine's.

Comments:
WSSU head coach Lataya Hilliard-Gray has led the Lady Rams to a perfect 4-0 record this week. With the effort, the Lady Rams remain perfect in the CIAA Southern Division. The team didn't allow a run scored for the week and won all four games in five innings of play.
