DARRELL TONEY RESIGNS AS BOWIE STATE SOFTBALL COACH

(BOWIE, Md.) Bowie State University head softball coach
Darrell Toney has resigned effective immediately. During his
three-year stint, Toney compiled an overall record of 72-51 and an
impressive 45-6 conference mark, which included a CIAA Championship
in 2008.
“We appreciate Coach Toney’s service to the Department
of Athletics and Bowie State University and wish him the very
best”, said Athletic Director Anton Goff.
A search will begin immediately for a successor.
