RALEIGH, N.C. - The Shaw men's tennis team will host early round action of the NCAA Division II Tennis Tournament it was announced Tuesday night.  The Bears will host one half of the Atlantic Regional, with games being held Sunday, April 29 and Monday, April 30.
 
The Bears (21-2) won their eighth straight CIAA Championship last Saturday and hold the number two seed in the Atlantic Region.  On Sunday, they will face the number seven seed West Liberty (9-5) while the number three seed Bloomsburg (15-4) will take on Shepherd (16-8), the number six seed in the region.  Matches will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. with assignments to be announced on Wednesday.
 
The two winners will then meet on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with a spot in the national tournament to be held in Louisville, Ky., on the line.
 
All matches will be held at Biltmore Hill Community Center at 2615 Fitzgerald Drive.
