Preseason All-Conference & Predicted Order of

Charlotte, NC – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic
Association held its Basketball Press Conference today at the
Charlotte Convention Center, where the Basketball Coaches
Associations announced their Preseason All-CIAA picks and Predicted
Order of Finish.
Both the Men’s and Women’s teams feature key
returners from a large cross-section of conference institutions.
This year’s teams are headlined with 2010-11 Men’s
Player of the Year, Trevin Parks of Johnson C. Smith University and
Women’s Defensive Player of the Year, Chanita Jordan of Bowie
State University. Parks was ranked second in the league for scoring
averaging 21.3 points and ranked among the top in the conference
for assists with 92. Jordan led the conference in blocks with 78
and averaging 2.8 a game.
The basketball season is swiftly approaching us and competition
for the CIAA title is only one month away.
