Player of the Week - Notes of Interest:
Trevin Parks
concluded the Quincy University/Subway Holiday Tournament with 65
total points. He set a new career-high with 39 points in a 78-68
victory over the hosts Quincy Hawks. He finished with a game-high
26 points and four rebounds against Hillsdale. He was named
All-Tournament MVP and set the tournament records for points in a
game (39), points in the tournament (65), and three-pointers made
in a game (7) and in the tournament (11).

Newcomer of the Week - Notes of Interest:
Curtis Hines
established himself as a solid scorer as the Bears took the title
at the Wingate by Wyndham Holiday Classic with wins over Armstrong
Atlantic and Georgia College. Over the two games, he averaged 21
points per game. Against Armstrong Atlantic, he broke the 20-point
mark for the first time this season while he scored another 19 in
Shaw's 67-63 win over Georgia College. Against Georgia College, he
hit critical three-point shots to keep the Bears on
top.

Jones
averaged 5.5 points and four rebounds in an average of 15 minutes
in two games at the University of West Florida Holiday Classic. He
had six points and five rebounds in 13 minutes in a 64-60 win over
North Alabama.

Coach Cleo Hill, Jr. led his
Bears into Savannah, GA, where they brought home the title from the
Wingate by Wyndham Holiday Classic with wins over Armstrong
Atlantic and Georgia College. With the wins, the Bears improve to
8-2 on the season going into conference play.
