Senior Jerry Hollis scored a career-high 32 points and grabbed 19 rebounds (12 defensive) in an 86-69 win against Lincoln University (PA). Hollis earned a double-double in the 1st half versus Lincoln (13 points, 11 rebounds). He has averaged a double-double in his last three games.

Newcomer of the Week - Notes of Interest:

Goldsmith posted two double-doubles this week with 19 points and 19 rebounds versus Livingstone and 13 points and 11 rebounds against Shaw. 

 

Coach of the Week

Darrell Brooks, Bowie State University 
Brooks and his Bulldogs ran the table last week, garnering wins against Fayetteville State (79-62), Shepherd (77-67) and Livingstone (74-67). Brooks, in his first season, improved the Bulldogs' record to 9-4 overall and 7-2 in the CIAA.

Coach of the Week

Margaret Richards, Saint Augustine's College
Coach Richards led the Lady Falcons to a 2-0 record this past week, including a 61-58 upset win over 18th-ranked Virginia State. The Lady Falcons won both games despite dressing out only seven players.
