Player of the Week - Notes of Interest:
Scott was the Golden Bulls' leading scorer in all three victories this week; averaging 25.3 points- including a 34-point performance against Shaw. Scott hit a game-winning three pointer at the buzzer versus Shaw in a 74-72 win. He also scored his 1,000th career point this week in win against Livingstone.

Pride averaged 12.6 points in three games this week. He scored a career-high of 17 points against Bowie State.
Men's Coach of the Week

University
Coach Joyner and the Golden Bulls bounced back from a loss to
Virginia Union last week with three straight conference victories
this week. JCSU earned divisional wins against St. Augustine's,
Livingstone, and Shaw. J.C. Smith is a perfect 6-0 in the
division. The Golden Bulls are currently ranked 7th in the NCAA
D-II Atlantic Region.

Entering the week averaging 12.2 points per game, Price erupted for 24 points on the road against Shaw and 32 points at home versus Livingstone. For the week, she had just five turnovers (one vs. LC), shot 66.7% versus Shaw and 65% against Livingstone. As a guard, Price has only attempted one 3-pointer all season.

Women's Coach of the Week
Serena King-Coleman, Saint Paul's
College
King-Coleman led her Lady Tigers to a 3-0 record this week with
wins over Livingstone, Virginia Union, and Bowie State. Other than
Fayetteville State, the Lady Tigers have defeated every school at
least once this season. The Lady Tigers have a 10-7 conference
record and are 13-12 overall.
