HILLIARD NAMED STREET AND SMITH'S PRE-SEASON ALL-AMERICAN
Reigning CIAA Player of the Year Preparing for Senior Campaign

BEAVERTON, Ore- Senior guard Anthony Hilliard has added another All-American honor to his résumé as he was named a Street and Smith's First Team All-American as released Friday afternoon.
Earlier this week, Hilliard the 2008 CIAA Player of the Year, was
named to the 2008-09 Pre-Season All-CIAA basketball team. He was
named an All-American by Daktronics after leading the CIAA in both
scoring and rebounding last season. The Vikings, who finished 20-7
overall last season (their first 20-win season in nine years) were
picked to finish tied at second place with Virginia Union
University in the CIAA Eastern Division for the upcoming basketball
season.
The Vikings will open up the 2008-09 season at Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC on November 20th.
