Raleigh, NC (April 15) – Saint Augustine’s University will host the Falcon Spring Invitational men’s golf tournament at Pine Hollow Golf Course in Clayton, N.C., on Monday, April 16. First tee time is 8:43 a.m.

The four-team tournament is a warm-up for the CIAA Men’s Golf Championship, which will be held Thursday, April 19, and Friday, April 20, in New Kent, Va. In addition to Saint Augustine’s University, the teams competing Monday are Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University and Virginia State University.

The Falcons are led by Sam Cudjoe (Fr./Bethel, Trinidad and Tobago), who is making a splash on the CIAA golf scene. He won the CIAA Southern Division Tournament at Pine Hollow Golf Course in March and has earned All-Tournament honors in two conference matches. He averages a 73.3 score in two CIAA tournaments including a school record 65 on the first day of the Southern Division Tournament.

A strong supporting cast backs Cudjoe. James Thomas Moore (So./Fairfax, VA) averages an 81 score and Jaylon Lynn (Fr./Garner, NC) averages an 82.3 score.
