Daniels, West Virginia – The Chowan University Men's Golf team wrapped up NCAA Super Regional play at the Resort at Glade Springs with a final round 314 to finish 17th overall with a tournament total of 931. Virginia Union University's Alan Day finished with a final round 225 to finish tied at 19th.
Rich Edwards led the Hawks with a final round 75 (+3). Edwards posted two birdies on the front side to shoot a one-over 37. Edwards wrapped up the back side with a birdie to post a 38 on the back. He carded 11 pars on the round. Jordan Francis posted a 76 (+4) to wrap up the tournament in a tie for 59th. Francis finished the front side even par picking up two birdies and five pars. After tripping up on the par-four 11, Francis battled back to birdie the par-five 12 and wrapped up play with a birdie on 18 to finish the day Steven Rhinard picked up two birdies and an eagle in his round to shoot 80. Christian Fleetwood and Billy Britton finished with rounds of 83 and 88 respectively to round out the scoring for the Hawks.
