The Virginia Union University athletic department received it's most recent donation from one of it's most recent graduates.

Justin-Mychal White earned a Degree in English Language and Literature as a member of the 2015 VUU graduating class, made an undisclosed donation to Coach Coble and the VUU golf team.

"This was simply my way of saying Thank you to Virginia Union," said White. "The university as a whole has opened so many doors and aided in the construction of what I am today and what I continue to strive to be. In addition we as a whole need to do more to ensure the longevity of the historically black college and hopefully this will influence people to do their part also, rather they be VUU alum or not".

"Justin is a role model for VUU Alumni giving back to a program that he valued and was important to him," said VUU Head Golf Coach E. Lee Coble. "This is a tremendous gift for the VUU Golf Program."

Justin-Mychal is currently teaching 6th grade English for the city of Richmond, as well as perusing his Masters Degree in Sports Administration at Hampton University. Upon completion of his Masters justin-Mychal plans to attend Morgan State University to acquire a second Masters and Ph.D in history with a concentration in African American Arts.
