Chowan Women's Golf Program Signs Inecia Rolle

MURFREESBORO- The Chowan University women's golf program along with Head Coach Mike Ordnung and Assistant Coach Ellen Ordnung announced the signing of Inecia Rolle.  Rolle has signed a National Letter of Intent with the program and will join the Hawks for the 2016-17 season. 

"Inecia is very talented with unlimited potential.  She brings great talent to our team and has experience competing in challenging, competitive tournaments.  Inecia will be a great asset to our team and will help us reach our goal of having a winning women's golf program at Chowan," Ellen Ordnung noted.  

Rolle joins the Hawks with a significant list of accolades and honors earned on the junior circuit.  Most recently, she was selected to represent the Bahamas in the World Junior Golf Series slated for December 28th-30th.  It will be held at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida. 

Additionally, Rolle has been recognized and ranked as the #1 Amateur Female Golfer in the Bahamas each year since 2012.  She placed first in the Bahamas National Amateur Golf Championship in 2015 and was awarded with the President's Cup.  Further, Rolle will receive the 2015 Rising Star Award, representing the Bahamas in women's golf.   The winner of this award is nominated and selected by the Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture. 

The Nassau, Grand Bahama resident currently attends Queen's College High School and competes as a member of the Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Team.
