Livingstone Finishes Third in Weather Shortened Minority Golf Championship

Inclement weather forced the suspension of play on Sunday leaving Livingstone College in third place after 36 holes in the 29th PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship at PGA Golf Club.  Championship officials determined that Division II competitors would not have been able to complete their final rounds.

Fayetteville State finished fifth as Cal State Dominguez Hills, the 36-hole leader, was declared champion.

In addition to the two teams, several CIAA golfers competed as individuals with CIAA tournament medalist William White (ECSU) leading the pack by finishing 13th overall.
