Elizabeth City, NC - The foundational schedule of the Anthony Jones era of Elizabeth City State University football is highlighted by exhilarating Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, Eastern College Athletic Conference, and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchups during the 2018 season.
The Vikings will open the season September 1 with the first of four games at home in Roebuck Stadium against SIAC foe Central State University (OH) at 1:00 p.m. for ECSU Hall of Fame/Military Appreciation/First Responder's Day before traveling to Eastern College Athletic Conference and in-state rival UNC-Pembroke September 8 in Grace P. Johnson Stadium.
"We are very excited about the introductory of the Anthony Jones era with one of the most challenging football schedules in program history," said ECSU Interim Athletic Director Claudie Mackey. "It provides not only great exposure for the football program, but also Elizabeth City State University. We look forward to seeing Viking Nation and supporting our student-athletes from all corners of the country."
