#64 McDane McFarlane, Bowie State
(So, OL - Uniondale, NY)

McFarlane was instrumental along the Bowie State offensive line, helping the Bulldogs to over 400 yards (494) of total offense for the second straight week.


 

QUARTERBACK OF THE WEEK

#6 Amir Hall, Bowie State
(Sr, QB - Bowie, MD)

Hall had another stellar performance in guiding Bowie State to 38-31 road win at Alderson Broaddus, completing 27-of-41 passes for a game-high 365 yards (four touchdowns), the same total he had in Week #1.

RECEIVER OF THE WEEK

#12 Daniel Bender, Shaw
(So, WR - Jacksonville, FL)

Bender scored two touchdowns and racked up 152 total receiving yards on 12 catches in the Bears 27-9 win over Mars Hill Saturday.

(So, RB - Hopewell, VA)

Taylor rushed 24 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns against Carson-Newman. Taylor now has five rushing TDs after the first two games of the season.

Garris finished with a career-high 13 tackles against Division I FCS North Carolina Central.

LINEBACKER OF THE WEEK

#34 Devon Hunt, Shaw
(Jr, LB - Hemlet, NC)

Hunt became Shaw University's all-time leader in career tackles this weekend as he recorded 14 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one pass break up, and a quarterback hurry in the Bears 27-9 win over Mars Hill. Hunt now holds the program record of 205 total tackles for his career.
