St. Aug's Jones, Hall Named to Daktronics All-Southeast First Team

Kevin Jones and Alex Hall of Saint Augustine's College were
first-team selections on the 2006 Daktronics All-Southeast Region
football squad, selected by members of the College Sports
Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The team was announced
Wednesday, November 29, 2006.
Hall and Jones are now eligible for the Daktronics All-America
team, which will be announced December 13, 2006. The names of the
first-team members will be placed on a national All-America
ballot.
A senior middle linebacker, Jones (6-3, 210 lbs) was named 2006
CIAA Defensive Player of the Year after leading the nation and the
CIAA with 120 total tackles at the end of the regular season. He
also was a first-team All-CIAA pick.
Jones was the leading vote-getter among linebackers on the regional
team.
A junior defensive end, Hall (6-4, 250 lbs) was selected to the
All-CIAA first team after leading the CIAA with 13 sacks. He
finished the regular season with the third-best sack total in the
nation.
Jones hails from South Hill, VA., and Hall is from Glenarden, MD.
