Comments:
Josh Catalano is currently riding a 15 game hitting
streak. He has paced the Hawks offensively since the onset of the
season and helped guide Chowan to a 2-1 week with a double-header
win over Lincoln and a tough loss to Barton College. In the Barton
loss, Josh accounted for half of the team's hits after going 3-5
with a double and an RBI. He hit 4-8 with three doubles and three
RBI in a double-header win over Lincoln on Saturday. Catalano also
played errorless ball in center field with two putouts and an
assist.

Di Dio hurled a one-hit shutout in a 9-0 win over Virginia
State in the second game of a doubleheader on March 31. Di Dio
recorded seven strikeouts and two walks in seven complete innings
for the win.

Comments:
Justin Bagbey helped Chowan to a 2-1 week with double-header wins
over Lincoln and a tough road loss to Barton. Bagbey drove in eight
runs in the two wins over Lincoln. He hit 1-2 with four RBI, a
double, and a sacrifice fly in the first game and then followed
with a 3-3 performance, another four RBI, a homerun and a double to
help pick up win number two.

Comments:
Percy Evans is a force at first base for the Trojans. In
the past week, he recorded 52 outs with no fielding errors and
brought in six RBI's for the week. In Game One of a double header
against Saint Augustine's, Evans had three hits and three
RBI's.
Coach of the

Comments:
Whitaker guided the Falcons to a 3-2 record last week,
with one of those losses suffered from #11 ranked Mount Olive
College. The Falcons were 3-1 against CIAA opponents including a
sweep of Shaw and a split against Virginia State. Two St. Aug
pitchers, Alex Di Dio and Alex Edwards, each tossed a one-hit
shutout last week.
