CIAA Announces 2026 Indoor Track & Field Championships at Tryon International

Charlotte, NC (August 19, 2025) — The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA®) is proud to announce that the 2026 CIAA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place at the Tryon International Indoor Complex in Mill Spring, North Carolina, on February 15–16, 2026. 

This marks the first time the CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted at Tryon International, a world-class indoor sports facility renowned for its cutting-edge design and athlete-focused amenities. The complex features a newly installed Mondo Super X 720 200-meter banked track boasting 12-degree turns and a multi-radius layout designed to deliver top tier performance and host full indoor track meets starting December 2025. With more than 3,300 spectator seats surrounding the competition area, it promises a dynamic experience for spectators.

Tryon International, originally known for its equestrian heritage, has rapidly expanded its services to include a broad range of indoor sporting events including martial arts, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, and track & field, supported by on-site lodging, dining, and hospitality amenities.
