•    Won the 400m dash with a personal best time of 47.9 seconds at the Fred Hardy Meet.     
•    Placed 4th in the 200m dash with a time of 22.03 seconds.


NAME: Zachary Jones
INSTITUTION: Virginia Union University 
HOMETOWN: Chester, VA.

•    Placed 2nd in the shot put at the Fred Hardy Meet in Richmond, Virginia, with a mark of 15.29m.     
•    Secured 3rd place in the discus throw with a mark of 46.99m.


NAME: Rose Muturi
INSTITUTION: Virginia State University 
HOMETOWN: Nyahururu, Kenya

Rose Muturi # 1 in the CIAA 5000m with a time of 18:32.

Finished 3rd overall at the UNIVERSITY OF South Carolina Weems Baskin Meet.

Charnessa had a great weekend for the Rams capturing third place in the long jump with marks of 5.58m 18-03.75 to finish the highest among all DII competition at the Weems Baskin Invite hosted by University of South Carolina.
