Charlotte, N.C. (October 27, 2025) - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) extends its deepest condolences and support to Lincoln University (PA) following the tragic shooting that occurred during homecoming weekend on Saturday, October 25, 2025. One individual was killed and six others were injured in the incident. The CIAA joins Lincoln University (PA) and its surrounding community in mourning this loss and in supporting those impacted.

“We are heartbroken by the tragedy that occurred at Lincoln University (PA) over the weekend. Homecoming is meant to be a time of pride, fellowship, and celebration. To have that joy interrupted by violence leaves a deep wound. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the individual whose life was taken, with those who were injured, and with every student, alum, faculty and staff member who has been shaken by this moment. The CIAA community is one that leans on one another in times of hardship. Lincoln University (PA), we are with you and we will continue to hold you close during this time of healing.”
