George tallied 10 hits including a game-high three, three times this past weekend. For the weekend, she went 10-15 from the plate with six RBI and a pair of homeruns. The two homers came against Bluefield State in game 2 as the Bulldogs went a 4-0, sweeping both B-State and Elizabeth City State on Saturday and Sunday.

#16 Ariana Ellerson, Bowie State University

Ellerson had 30 catches, 28 putouts while committing just two error in four games for the Bulldogs this weekend at the first base position. She recorded nine catches twice and a weekend-high of nine putouts against ECSU to help the Bulldogs to a perfect weekend.

FOOD LION PITCHER OF THE WEEK

#21 Akirra Pullen, Bowie State University
(Sr., P- Baltimore, MD)

Pullen pitched a six-inning game against Bluefield State, allowing nine hits, striking out three batters for an ERA of 3.11 while against Elizabeth City State, the Baltimore, Md., native pitched seven innings allowing nine hits, striking out two batters for an ERA of 3.17. For the weekend, she went 2-0 in her pitching performances.
