Freshman Ailani Brown had the best pitching performance of her young career against Allen (S.C.) earlier last week. She threw a complete game shutout, only allowing three total hits while earning six strikeouts.

Presleigh went 3 of 6 from the plate against a good West Liberty team on Thursday. Braxton also tacked on one run scored but her best game of the week was during the second match-up with West Liberty, she went 2 of 3 from the plate (.293) and totaled two putouts for a fielding percentage of 1.000.
